Beats Diabetes Marathon

30 Dec 2013- As a collaborator with the ministry of health in Bahrain and under supervision of the minister of health and the minister of defense, Al-Salam school had participated in this event by inviting its students to join the marathon along with the P.E teacher and the principal. The marathon held on Saturday 30th December 2013 when two students form grade seven participated in this activity. The activity started with worming up exercises to walk the distance of 3 KM. After finishing the announced distance the Activity ended up with a healthy snack. فعالية المشي تحت شعار � اهزم السكر� 30 ديسمبر 2013- في إطار التعاون مع وزارة الصحة وجمعية السكر البحرينية وتحت رعاية كل من / وزير الدفاع ووزير الصحة ومحافظ المحرق، وبمناسبة اليوم العالمي للسكر، شاركت مدرستنا في الفعالية بإرسال دعوة للطلبة أيضاً حيث شارك بها طالبين من الصف السابع ومدرس التربية الرياضية مع مديرة المدرسة في مساء يوم السبت الموافق 30 ديسمبر 2013 وجاءت الإفتتاحية بعملية الإحماء والإطالة والتهيئة للمشي لمسافة 3 كيلو متر، وعندها بدأ المشي آنذاك للمسافة المعلنة وخُتمت بتناول وجبة صحية مفيدة
